This Fall we are offering virtual workshops so that our members can gather online from across the country to learn and share. These 2-day thematic workshops are offered on various dates in November and focused on 3 themes: Communications, Fundraising and Project Design. See more details below!
Comms that Connect & Ethical Storytelling
November 12 & 26
In this 2-part workshop, participants will identify and create three unique personas – Baby Boomer, GenX, and Millennial – that will help focus and shape effective communication strategies. We’ll also explore how to leverage research and data to build connection, drive engagement and boost your organization’s impact.
On day 2, we’ll focus on crafting narratives that connect with each of those personas while maintaining integrity, respect, and authenticity. Participants will explore the impact of their stories, learning how to avoid harmful stereotypes, respect diverse perspectives, and ensure consent in sharing personal experiences. Through interactive exercises, they’ll gain tools to tell stories that empower individuals and communities, while maintaining a deep commitment to ethical responsibility in all forms of media.
Fundraising
November 6 & 7
The first day of this workshop will be 5 Concepts to Unlock Growth–you’ll hear some of the concepts, strategies, and approaches used by one of the fastest growing international profits to grow their brand. The second day will delve into actionable strategies and practical tactics to enhance your fundraising efforts.
