Dan’s entrepreneurial leanings have always led him to be involved in both his local community and the global landscape. Over the past 25 years, he has led as a business owner and served in various volunteer, committee, and board roles within his church and community — always compelled to dig in, see the big picture, and help others do the same. He also spent a brief time teaching at the high school level, further shaping his commitment to mentorship and long-term impact.

At GiveWise, Dan brings a financial mind and a heart for legacy giving. He helps ensure our systems are built for trust, transparency, and meaningful results — equipping donors to make strategic, lasting impact through complex gifts like donor-advised funds, shares, and estates. Dan is also a self-professed “Donor Advised Funds” nerd and will take any opportunity to discuss and learn more about the DAF space and its powerful potential.
